Another year, another holiday season and another 76ers game on Christmas Day. For the second consecutive year, the Sixers will be playing basketball on the 25th of December.

Last season, the Sixers pulled out a 119-114 victory over the New York Knicks on Christmas. This year, the opponent is the Miami Heat, and the game will take place in South Florida.

Overall, the Sixers as an organization have a record of 19-14 on the holiday, including the team's time as the Syracuse Nationals. The Nationals relocated to Philadelphia and became the 76ers in 1963. The Sixers made their Christmas Day debut in 1967.
