7.31.15:

Cole Hamels met with the assembled media one final time on Friday afternoon before leaving the ballpark one final time as a pitcher for the Phillies. He was emotional in the beginning when talking about how much the city meant to him and family being able to raise one here for the last several years. He was drafted here in 2002 and the fans were able to watch him grow up and develop into one of the best pitchers in baseball. Hamels also talked about the difficulty he had when discussing where he'd like to be traded to with his wife. Hamels also finished up with his no-hitter at Wrigley Field, the fact he was able to so with Carlos Ruiz and Ryan Howard on the field with him one last time. #ThankYouCole (Courtesy: CSN Philadelphia)
