Andy Reid Monday After Press Conference: “Nick Foles is Our Relief Pitcher”
It’s now been six weeks since the Eagles last won a football game.
The Eagles lost their fifth straight game yesterday against their division rival Cowboys, this after they were able to see the NFC East leading New York Giants get blown out earlier in the day.
After leading his offense down the field for the first touchdown of the game, Mike Vick later would exit after suffering a “significant concussion,” head coach Andy Reid would say post game.
In his Monday after press conference today Reid said that Nick Foles is “like a relief pitcher, he’ll come in when Vick is down.”
Reid also said that Mike Vick is unlikely to practice all week, giving way for rookie Nick Foles to make his first career NFL start.
