While many around the NFL think that the Eagles and Sam Bradford will work out a deal before the March 9th free agent period, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com thinks the team could have interest in Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III.

"I would think they have to seriously look at this," ESPN.com NFL Nation Eagles reporter Phil Sheridan said on the Sports Bash. "I would be a lot more interested in Robert Griffin III than any of these quarterback's coming out in the draft."

The NFL media insider listed two options for the Redskins former starting signal-caller, who was demoted to third string duties this season.

"I'll give you two big options right off the top," Rapoport said on NFL Network. "The Kansas City Chiefs, who have Andy Reid, who has propped up quarterbacks for years. (Griffin) can learn to throw from the pocket under that system. Another potential name: the Philadelphia Eagles with one of Reid's disciples, Doug Pederson. They're looking for some quarterback depth there, especially if they don't re-sign Sam Bradford."
