According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are not expected to use the franchise tag on Sam Bradford, the projected franchise number for quarterbacks is $19.7 million. If the two sides can't come to an agreement, the Eagles might have interest in bringing back a familiar name - Nick Foles.

Bradford, came to the Eagles in the trade that sent Nick Foles to the Rams and Schefter reports new Eagles coach Doug Pederson is "interested" in bringing Foles back to Philadelphia. Pederson was on Andy Reid's staff when the team drafted Foles in the third round of the 2012 season, serving as Foles’ quarterbacks coach that year.

The Rams most likely would be interested in moving Foles, who makes $7.75 million, was benched down the stretch last year, deciding Case Keenum was a better option. However, Foles’ $8.75 million cap number and $8 million dead money hit would make a trade highly unlikely.
