Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Phillies have indicated to teams that they are eager to move Hunter Pence. The right fielder will remain under team control through 2013, when he’s expected to obtain a raise and earn $13-14 million range.

Could a place like Pittsburgh be a perfect landing spot for Pence?

The Pirates are in contention for the first time since the early 1990's and by adding a player like Pence the Pirates have an outfielder they need and have him under control for the rest of this season and next season.

As we discussed before, the Pirates have a very good farm system and could be a good fit for the Phillies to deal with.

The main question is do the Phillies think they are still in the playoff race or not?  If they think they are still alive, then why are they so" eager" to move Pence?

So Phillies fans, would you trade Hunter Pence?
