Asante Samuel Fires Shots at Andy Reid

Asante Samuel has never been afraid to speak his mind and with the firing of his former defensive coordinator, Juan Castillo, today was no different.

The former Eagles CB who was traded to the Atlanta Falcons during the off season sent out two separate tweets Tuesday morning pointing the finger at his former coach.

No doubt Samuel left the Eagles on bad terms as Jeff McLane chronicled in July that Reid thought Samuel was in “steep decline” and his style no longer fit the scheme.”

That scheme now belongs to Todd Bowles who was promoted to defensive coordinator in a corresponding move.

The tweet(s) come at a perfect time as Samuel brings his undefeated Falcons to Philadelphia Oct. 28.
