The NJSIAA boys playoffs continue on 97.3 ESPN on Thursday night when two-time defending state champion Atlantic City hosts Southern Regional in a re-match of a Group IV playoff game a year ago.

The Rams and the Vikings met in last year's quarterfinals with Southern nearly pulling the upset. Atlantic City trailed in the third quarter but won 61-56.

The two-time defending state Group IV champions dominated Vineland 74-37 in a South Jersey Group IV first-round game on Tuesday night to get here and Southern advanced with a 63-54 win over No.10 seed Kingsway Regional.

The Rams are led by Mike Gesicki who scored 31 points in the first round win on Tuesday.  Gesicki is a division I football player who is headed to Penn State in the fall to play tight end.
