Atlantic City Surges to South Jersey Boys Basketball Title

For the second time in a 10-day span, Coach Gene Allen and his Atlantic City High School boys basketball team have been crowned champions.

The Vikings claimed the Cape-Atlantic League title with a win over Middle Township on Feb. 25. This time around, Atlantic City stormed past second-seeded Cherry Hill East on Tuesday, Mar. 6 in the South Jersey Group IV championship game.

Atlantic City battles Central Jersey champion Middletown North on Thursday in the state semifinals. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Egg Harbor Township High School, you can listen to the game on 97.3 ESPN and 1450 ESPN.
