[AUDIO] Ron Hextall Talks JVR Signing on The Sports Bash

When the Flyers added James van Riemsdyk to the fold, Flyers general manager Ron Hextall, on The Sports Bash on 97.3 ESPN told me, he is looking for JVR score in the neighborhood of 25-30 goals.

But who will he be paired with in his return to Philadelphia?

"I would envision that he would play with Nolan Patrick or possibly even Claude (Giroux)," Hextall said.

van Riemsdyk inked a new five-year, $35 million contract to return to the team that drafted him.  Now, the Flyers are hoping the 29-year old left winger can add some offense to the Flyers after scoring 36 goals and 54 points in 81 games last season.
