The Flyers are hoping to get a little boost starting tonight, when Wayne Simmonds returns to the lineup to face the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Simmonds has been sidelined since Feb. 18 due to an upper-body injury.

It is expected that Simmons will skate alongside Valtteri Filppula and Jordan Weal, a line that he is familiar with, and he is expected to return to the teams top power-play unit.

Even with Simmonds return, the Flyers will keep Oskar Lindblom, who was called up from the minors on March 1, with the NHL club and he is expected to remain on the second line with Nolan Patrick and Jake Voracek.

HSimmonds has 20 goals and 37 points in 59 games this season.
