The Eagles defense put on a showcase in the NFL Divisional Round as they got Three Sacks and Eleven Quarterback Hits on the Falcons' Matt Ryan in their 15-10 victory last weekend.  During the 2017 season, the Eagles had five defensive linemen registered 30 or more Quarterback Pressures, including first round draft picks Derek Barnett, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham.  The highest paid member of the Eagles Defense, Fletcher Cox, showed last weekend he is more than just a pass rusher as he also was apart of shutting down the Falcons Running Game.

NFL Network Analyst Brian Baldinger joined The Sports Bash on Thursday and talked about how he expects the Eagles to utilize Fletcher Cox against the Vikings this Sunday:

“He definitely effected Matt Ryan even if he didn’t hit him that much – But they’re going to move him around, they’ve played him over the Right Guard, they like to play him over the Center especially (when opponents are) in Shotgun where they have to get the snap back and has got to deal with Fletcher.  They love to put those four defensive (First Round) Draft Picks in Fletcher and Brandon (Graham) and (Chris) Long with Derek (Barnett), they love to put that group out there and let them just tee off and go.  So I think you’ll see Fletcher up and down the line of scrimmage, I think you will see him up against (Mike) Remmers, you’ll see him up against (Joe) Berger, you’ll see him against (Pat) Elflein and really try to get him matched one on one, let him just collapse the pocket the way he is physically capable of doing.”
