The Eagles run defense, which has already had major issues over the past month, could be losing nose tackle Bennie Logan for the rest of the season with a calf injury suffered in the loss to Arizona.

Before the news of Logan's injury came out, Eagles defensive coordinator Billy Davis commented on his recent play, which has slipped a bit from his early season form but he also indicated that something may have happened in the Arizona game.

"Bennie is playing good football," Davis explained.  "Bennie has played good football all the time. It's like most people in the NFL right now, there's not a healthy guy out there that's playing fresh and going. But Bennie has played real good football for us. Got nicked up the other night. But I don't think there's been a drop-off in Bennie. Him and Fletch [DE Fletcher Cox] have been real solid the entire year."

Beau Allen would start at nose tackle if Logan is forced to sit out the rest of the season, including Saturday night against Washington.

Logan has 55 tackles and one sack on the season.
