CHESTER, Pa. (973espn.com) – A pair of Philadelphia Union players were named MLS All-Stars Saturday, goalkeeper Andre Blake and rookie defender Keegan Rosenberry.

Each was voted to the 2016 All-Star Fan XI, the league announced. The MLS All-Star Team will take on English Premier League side Arsenal FC at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, on Thursday, July 28.

Blake has been spectacular at times for the Union in his first season as the club's full-time starter. Known for his acrobatic saves, dubbed #SavesbyDre on social media, the former No. 1 overall pick in the '14 MLS SuperDraft has posted a 5-1-2 record with three shutouts and 1.25 goals-against average at Talen Energy Stadium this season. He has also been nominated for MLS Save of the Week eight times during the campaign..

Rosenberry, meanwhile, has been a cornerstone for the Union defense this season after arriving as the No. 3 overall pick in the '16 SuperDraft out of Georgetown. The Harrisburg native has played every minute for Philadelphia this season, the only Union player to accomplish that feat and the only rookie in the entire MLS to do so. Rosenberry is also the first freshman to be named an MLS All-Star since '13 and only the second since '05.

This marks just the second time the Union have had two representatives at the MLS All-Star Game. In 2012, defender Carlos Valdes and midfielder Michael Farfan represented the Union during a 3-2 win at Talen Energy Stadium, then known as PPL Park.

Other Union players in appear in the MLS All-Star Game are forward Sebastien Le Toux (2010), goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon (2011), forward Jack McInerney (2013) and MF Maurice Edu (2014).
