The Arena Football League is coming to Atlantic City. In what hopes to be an annual event, the Philadelphia Soul will battle the Las Vegas Outlaws on Saturday, May 30th.

We're excited to bring this game to Atlantic City, this game means a lot to me

The game is being dubbed as "The Boardwalk Bowl" as it will be played at historic Boardwalk Hall which hopes to bring in more than 10,000 fans in attendance.

Both Ron Jaworski and Marques Colston have called into 97.3 ESPN FM to promote the event and expect excitement all week long in Atlantic City. As a South Jersey resident, Jaws has made it his mission to revive a struggling Atlantic City which has fallen on hard times with various casino closings. Bringing his Soul to the shore this summer is something that could jolt some energy into both entities.

"We're excited to bring this game to Atlantic City, this game means a lot to me," Jaws told Mike Gill on 97.3 ESPN FM last week.

In addition to the game, the Soul have also announced week long festivities in anticipation for the event:

Boardwalk Bowl Festivities:
