Bob Cooney Discusses His Joel Embiid Report: Bone is Rebroken

Bob Cooney called in to talk about his latest report about the "setback" involving Joel Embiid. Cooney reported that Embiid suffered another break in the navicular bone in his right foot, which is contrary to some of the information the Sixers have been forthcoming with. It's a foregone conclusion that Embiid will miss the entire season, but Cooney cautions us in that "we just don't know." He likes to take it case by case too with these foot injuries where Yao Ming was never the same player, but Zydrunas Ilgauskas of the Cavaliers was able to have a lengthy career after his foot surgery. Cooney also talks about the Sixers summer league and where the roster stands now with training camp a month or so away.
