The Bridgeton Bulldogs are off to a 3-0 start this season.

Quarterback Ronald Williams is a big reason for the success and he earned recognition as the latest 97.3 ESPN FM High School Athlete of the Week.

Williams, a senior, picked apart CAL National Conference rival Cedar Creek throughout a 38-7 win. Williams completed 10 of 13 pass attempts for 163 yards and three touchdowns.

He received 86 percent of the vote, securing a runaway win. Atlantic City sophomore quarterback Jamir Prevard followed with nine percent.

Timber Creek wide receiver Adonis Jennings and Holy Spirit quarterback T.J. Anderson followed in the vote. Egg Harbor Township soccer standout Kristen Milhan rounded out the list of candidates.

Be sure to look for a new list of Athlete of the Week candidates every Thursday. Vote early and often  through Saturday mornings. Tyler Donohue will announce the winner Saturdays at 11 a.m. on The South Jersey Sports Report (9-noon).
