Over the last six games the Eagles are 1-5 and a major issue is on defense.  Over that stretch the defense is allowing 284.7 Passing Yards Per Game and only forced six turnovers total.

Barrett Brooks of CSN Philly joined The Sports Bash on Monday and elaborated on the problems in the Eagles secondary:

“You do not have athletes in back end that can really cover guys for an extended amount of time. So you have to bring more than four guys....Guys are not getting their heads turned around to contest passes when they are getting thrown at. Guys are getting beat on lack of technique. It is not necessarily them taking plays off they just did not do the proper things in order to be good defensive backs. It is the second game in a row where teams are throwing down the field because they understand these defensive backs won’t turn their head.”
