On Wednesday the Eagles and Jason Peters agreed to a contract extension that keeps him in Philadelphia through 2019.  During his time with the Eagles, Peters has been selected to the Pro Bowl seven times and named First Team All-Pro twice.  Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson said this week there is a possibility that Peters move inside to play at Guard in the future, setting up an Offensive Line with Lane Johnson at Left Tackle next to Peters at Left Guard.

Nine Year NFL Offensive Line and CSN Philly Eagles Pre/Post Game Analyst Barrett Brooks joins The Sports Bash with his perspective on Jason Peters:

"The biggest thing that we need to realize is he’s our best offensive linemen at this point. Last year he was graded better than any offensive linemen and he played all 16 games so give him credit for just being better than what people are giving him credit for. He’s still a top 10 tackle in this league and because of how old he is he has a coach that knows how to coach him and understand that he’s in veteran days. So yes they’re going to keep him on the team, yes he’s still the best offensive lineman, he’s still very explosive and him being not close to what he used to be is still better than 70% of the tackles in the league."
