The Cape Atlantic League Tournament pairings have been released with a couple of interesting matchups and St. Augustine the favorite, taking the top seed in the tournament. The two two teams in each conference get automatic bids, plus two wild card teams.

In round one its a rematch of father versus son as top seed St. Augustine will face eighth seeded St. Joe's as Paul Rodio Sr. faces off with Paul Rodio Jr.  The Hermits are the National Conference champs, while the Wildcats are the second place team in the United. The two teams faced off in the Shoot Down Cancer Classic and easy Hermits win.

Second seed Atlantic City will host seventh seeded Bridgeton, the American Conference champs face one of the wild card teams.  The Vikings were the runners up last year, but at 17-4 are considered one of the heavy favorites to return to the title game.  At 15-6 the Bulldogs are a very athletic team capable of pulling off an upset at anytime.

Then there is third seeded Holy Spirit, second place in the American conference.  They will face sixth seeded EHT, who at 12-7 has had a nice season, for a third time.

The most interesting matchup is a battle of Cape May County teams with the four seed and defending league champ, Wildwood Catholic, who won the United conference facing fifth seeded Middle Twp, second place in the National conference.  The Crusaders and Panthers are similar teams who both are smaller and rely on outside shooting

So who ya got?  Should be an interesting road to Stockton, with the semi-finals this season moving to Absegami on Thursday.
