July 19, 2012 Predators GM David Poile has acknowledged that the Philadelphia Flyers and Shea Weber have agreed to an offer sheet; Weber has agreed to a 14-year offer sheet with the orange and black.
The Predators now have seven days to match the Flyers offer or accept draft picks as compensation and the Predators have released a statement on the offer:
"We have stated previously that, should a team enter into an offer sheet with Shea, our intention would be to match and retain Shea," Poile said
