Christopher Sanchez Has Been More Than Sensational
The Phillies are 29-27 so far this season and are in second place in the National League East. One reason why the Phillies are two games above .500 is because of their starting pitching.
Christopher Sanchez recorded his sixth win and lowered his ERA to 1.47. In fact, Sanchez set a franchise record for 44.2 consecutive scoreless innings. He also set a franchise record for lowest ERA in a single month, (0.00 ERA in May). Unbelievable!! Making an incredible recovery since his return from the injury list is Zack Wheeler. Wheeler is 4-0 with a 1.67 ERA. If it wasn’t for both Pitchers, the Phillies would be in trouble. Out of the 15 position players, only two are hitting over .240. Amazing.
The Eagles are participating in OTA’s this week, and their new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion is under the microscope. The other big story is Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown not attending the voluntary workouts. Many NFL Insiders and Reporters have said that Brown will be traded on or after June 1st, when it is more financially beneficial to move on from the Pro Bowl Wide Receiver
