For over a decade you've heard this man's voice on your lunch break from work.

Well, your lunch break is about to change.

As first reported by The Big Lead, Colin Cowherd and ESPN have decided to "mutually part ways." Cowherd hosts a national midday program called "The Herd: With Colin Cowherd" weekdays 10-1 ESPN Radio. His departure has been rumored and speculated upon for months so this can't come as much of a surprise to many people in the industry.

No destination has been finalized according to the report, but  FOX Sports has said to be the frontrunner for a multi year deal.

ESPN later confirmed the news via a statement:

“We’ve enjoyed a mutually beneficial run with Colin for over a decade. He came to national prominence on ESPN with his unique perspective on sports and society. Endings also bring new beginnings, for ESPN and Colin, and we thank him and wish him the best.”

The Cowherd move marks the third personality to leave the network. Bill Simmons and Keith Olbermann have also officially parted ways with ESPN.

Cowherd's contract was set to expire at the of the year and reportedly ESPN tried to retain his services, but the two parties could not agree to a deal in the end.

A final show, nor replacement has yet to be named by ESPN.
