Could Sixers owner Josh Harris be looking to sell the team, and take on a bigger task?

According to a report by Forbes.com Harris and his business parter David Blitzer could be looking to flip the Sixers to add a NFL expansion team in London, the two are already familar with the market, as major investors in the Crystal Palace Football Club in London.

“They’re more interested in getting the NFL in London than they are in the NBA,’’ the source told Forbes.com. “Their No. 1 goal is to get the NFL team in London. They want to flip the Sixers anyway.’’

Harris has been the Sixers owner since 2011, purchasing the team for approximately $285 million. According to the Forbes report, industry sources say Harris could fetch upwards of $900 million if he sold the Sixers.
