No. But no one wants to hear negativity nowadays in this country! The Phillies did win in extra innings yesterday as they have been doing the past few weeks. However, they are just 5-5 in their last 10 games. They travel to Miami tonight and Milwaukee after that for 6 games on the road against two teams that are very beatable Mike Gill gives them about a 3% chance to make the playoffs.

Shooting breeze on Eagles past drafts

Things shifted to the Eagles here where Mike and Ryan shot the breeze on past Eagles draft since 2000. The conversation came up because former Eagles LT Tra Thomas announced he will retire as an Eagle this week. Thomas was part of an excellent draft class in 1998 that saw the Eagles draft Thomas, Jeremiah Trotter and Ike Reese. Thomas started every post-season win under Andy Reid in his 11 years in Philadelphia.

Olympics Recap

We put a bow on the Summer Olympic Games with our own Tyler Donahue, he's been covering the Olympics for Bleacher Report. The United State were winners in every single medal category including the total medal count beating China by 16. Donahue doesn't know if we will see the "Fab 5" in 2016, history shows with Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson that these girls are 1-and done. Tyler is also uncertain that LeBron James will return for Rio in 2016, it may be Kevin Durant's time.

Chad Johnson in trouble

The Miami Dolphins, currently starring in HBO Hard Knocks, released their high profile and high-headache receiver Chad Johnson yesterday after he was arrested over the weekend for allegedly head-butting his wife, Evelyn Lozada. The two reportedly argued over a receipt of condoms Lozada found in the trunk of their car while unloading groceries. VH1 has also canceled the reality series "Ev & Ocho."

Geoff Mosher

Geoff Mosher called in and gave us an update on the injury status of Nnamdi Asomugha who was knocked out during afternoon practice at Training Camp today. He suffered a lip laceration and is currently being evaluated for a concussion. Mosher sees Jaiquawn Jarrett as on the bubble of making the team, he's been demoted and now splitting reps on 3rd team with little know S Tom Nelson. The Eagles second game of the season, a week from today against the Patriots is where you can judge best of what you may see and what the problems will be this season.
