ESPN's Jayson Stark reports that the Phillies have been shopping right-hander Joe Blanton.

About a month ago, we suggested that the Phillies should bring Roy Oswalt back, it seems that they still might want to.
Now just nine days away from pitchers and catchers reporting, Oswalt still doesn't have a home and maybe, just maybe if the Phillies can move Joe Blanton, which is what the Phillies are trying to do right now - they will have room to bring back Oswalt.
Blanton's name always seems to be on the trading block, and this time if they can dump Blanton and his $8.5 million, along with his 5.01 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in 41 1/3 innings last season all while fighting elbow issues, they might have room for Oswalt.
Sounds like a long shot right?
Hey did bring Cliff Lee back , traded for Hunter Pence and got Oswalt here two years ago.  I guess stranger things have happened right?
