Appearing on a Philadelphia radio station on Tuesday, former Eagles QB Donovan McNabb said that Nick Foles is not a starting franchise QB.

Now on his appearance on FOX Sports 1, McNabb had the chance to clarify those comments, but he did not back down.

"Let's see what happens this year. Let's see how the team evolves around his play and then we can make an answer, " McNabb said on set.

McNabb then was able to reference Redskins QB Robert Griffin III who had a "down" sophomore season coming off a knee injury and questions have arisen about his job security.

"Will we see Mark Sanchez out there, then what?" said McNabb.

Eagles fans will be seeing more and more of McNabb this season as he will now be working with Dick Stockton calling NFC games for FOX.
