The Philadelphia Eagles’ offseason has been filled with some surprising moves and some uncertainty around the future of Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles.

Some of the uncertainty may have been cleared up today, as Eagles coach Doug Pederson tells ESPN's Sal Paolantonio he believes it's "safe to say" the team is keeping Foles for the 2018 season.

"I don't think we were really close at all," Pederson said when asked hoe close the team was to trading him this offseason. "We just had to make sure it was right for the Philadelphia Eagles if something was going to come down our pipeline."

"Howie and I are on the same page with this, we feel like we have a great quarterback room," Pederson added.
