Eagles Add Another Body at WR, Sign Graham After Tryout

PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) — Howie Roseman alluded at his pre-draft press conference earlier this week that Doug Pederson had requested more bodies at the wide receiver position and he got one on Friday when the Eagles added speedy former third-round pick T.J. Graham to the roster on a one-year deal.

Graham had participated in this week’s voluntary minicamp on a tryout basis, along with three other players including fellow wide receiver DaVaris Daniels. The others to get a look were defensive tackle Ken Bishop and fullback Michael Zordich.

Graham has bounced around the league since being taken by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State, spending time with the Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets as well.

To this point he has 61 career receptions for 794 yards and four touchdowns but has been labeled a one-trick pony in that Graham's only real NFL-caliber asset in his long speed, no surprise because he has also excelled at track, finishing third nationally in the 100-meter dash at the Nike Nationals in 2007.

Graham is the third veteran wide receiver that the Eagles have added to their young WR corps of Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor and Josh Huff, joining Rueben Randle and Chris Givens.
