This Eagles Draft Pick Makes Top Ten Social Media Popularity List

Philadelphia Eagles fans are among the most passionate fan bases in the NFL. They are famous (or infamous depending on who you ask) and only a few Pro Football fandom bases can rival their loyalty and passion.

Eagles fandom has been a driving force for the popularity of now-retired All-Pro Center Jason Kelce's podcast along with retired Eagles Defensive End Chris Long's Podcast. Also, Eagles fans have helped raise millions of dollars for charities that are important to Eagles players along with the organization's Autism Awareness Fundraisers.

So it should be no surprise that those Philadelphia Eagles fans have also had an impact on the social media followings of the team's selections from the 2024 NFL Draft. What was a surprise was that General Manager Howie Roseman did not have to trade up and patiently waited for top-rated prospect Quinyon Mitchell to fall to the Eagles at the 22nd overall pick.

How Eagles Fans Have Boosted Mitchell's Social Media Following

The Cornerback from Toledo is already experiencing the love from Eagles' fans in less than a week as a member of the Philadelphia Organization.  The website BetMassachusetts tracked every 2024 NFL Draft Pick's social media accounts from the day before this year's NFL Draft, Wednesday, April 24th) to 48 hours after the final pick of the 7th round on Saturday (Monday, April 29th).

After gathering the data from each new NFL player's personal social media accounts, their research found that Quinyon Mitchell had the ninth largest gain of social media followers of any 2024 NFL Draft pick. Mitchell is the only defensive player on the list, making his boost in social media following even more impressive.
