The Eagles continue to figure out ways to improve their team, according to Jason Cole of the Bleacher Report, the team has given permission to starting guard Allan Barbre to seek a trade.

A move like this could pave the way for Isaac Seumalo to grab the starting left guard spot, while possibly trying to add another draft pick for Barbre.  Barbre, who has been the starting left guard, has been a valuable piece as a swing player as well, playing every position on the line except center since arriving in Philadelphia.

Barbre signed a four-year, $5.23 million contract. The deal included a $600,000 signing bonus, he is set to make just $2.1 million this season and will be a free agent after the year.
