According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Dolphins have hired Eagles QBs coach Bill Lazor as offensive coordinator.

Schefter reported last Wednesday that the team met with Lazor for the vacancy, and today they make the announcement

Lazor spent the season with the Eagles as part of head coach Chip Kelly's brand new staff in 2013. It was his first season as a coach with the Eagles.

Previously, Lazor was the offensive coordinator and QBs coach for the Virginia Cavaliers from 2010-2012. He began his NFL coaching career in 2003 under Dan Reeves in Atlanta before making stops with the Redskins and Seahawks.

Lazor is the first of Kelly's positional coaches to fly the coup, following the Eagles successful season. He has drawn praise for his work with Nick Foles, but has never coordinated an NFL offense.
