PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) - The Eagles have reportedly reworked the contract of veteran Pro Bowl safety Malcolm Jenkins, according to an ESPN report.

Philadelphia created $6.148M in 2018 cap space and Jenkins, 30, is earning the same amount of money per Field Yates, a scenario that likely points to the Eagles converting Jenkins' base salary into a signing bonus that will now be spread over the remaining three years of his contract.

The latest NFLPA numbers have the Eagles just over $8.6 million cap space, most all of it due to the Jenkins' restructure.
