The Philadelphia Eagles got the player they wanted with pick No. 22 on Thursday night and now will turn their attention to picks 50 and 53 on Friday night.

Could they continue to build on the defensive side of the ball or will they maybe look to fill their vacant right guard position?

Eagles Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman said its really big that the team was able to get Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchel, while not having to give up either of his second round picks to move to take him.

"I think you go through this draft and my mind isn't really on what we just did. It's on what we're doing next, so I'm a little distracted, so it's hard to talk about in a vacuum one thing," Roseman explained. We got a lot of work to do tomorrow and Saturday.

So we are going to try to execute the best we can, and it's a quick turnaround. For us to have a successful weekend we have a lot of work to do."

So who are some of the players they could target?

ESPN.com put out a Round 2 mock draft with the Eagles landing Michigan linebacker Junior Colson with pick No. 50.

The Eagles signed Devin White, but it's a one-year deal, and Nakobe Dean missed most of the 2023 season due to a Lisfranc sprain. Philadelphia adds to the off-ball linebacker position here.

Colson would be a great fit and likely a Day 1 starter for the team, who signed Devin White and hopes to get Nakobe Dean back healthy, but getting a solid off-ball linebacker at 50 would be a huge win for the team.

At pick 53, they have the team looking to add some more depth on the offensive line, taking BYU tackle Kingsley Suamataia.

Suamataia grades out as a No. 3 swing tackle. He would provide the Eagles with depth on both sides and has the potential to develop into the heir to soon-to-be 34-year-old right tackle Lane Johnson.

At BYU, the 6-foot-4, 320-pound, Suamataia, played left tackle this season, but played right tackle his first season for the Cougars.

He is the cousin of Detroit Lions offensive lineman Penei Sewel and he has said he is a big fan of Lane Johnson.  If he is taken by the Eagles, he could be Johnson eventual replacement.
