There were no real surprises when the inactives were released for tonight playoff rematch with the Atlanta Falcons, though a couple of key names did appear on the list.  Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz and Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery are both inactive for the game due to injury. While its not a surprise that both guys appeared on the list, there was a report that Wentz could be out awhile longer.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Wentz is expected to be sidelined "several more weeks."

We discussed Wentz's injury and timeline further on The Sports Bash with Dr. Kevin McHale, who previously worked with the New England Patriots.

In addition to Jeffery and Wentz, the players who are inactive for the Eagles are OG Chance Warmack, OT Jordan Mailata, OG Matt Pryor and DE Josh Sweat for Week 1 against the Falcons.

The Falcons declared OG Ben Garland, CB Isaiah Oliver, S Jordan Richards, CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson, LS Josh Harris, OT Matt Gono and DT Justin Zimmer inactive for Week 1 against the Eagles.
