Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford and running back Ryan Mathews missed practice, both remain in the league's concussion protocol.  Their status for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay is in question.

"He hasn't been cleared through the concussion protocol," Eagles coach Chip Kelly said about Sam Bradford. "So he won’t be allowed to practice today. Ryan Mathews is the same thing, and Josh Andrews is the same thing; all three of those guys haven't been cleared through the system. They haven’t played, so they're not allowed to practice."

Left tackle Jason Peters also missed practice today, Kelly wasn't sure of the nature as to why Peters sat out today, he has missed the last two game with back and quad issues.

"He's not going to go today," Kelly said.  "We'll see what goes on the rest of the week, but he's not going to go."

He did take part in Tuesday's practice but there was a report that Peters did not want to dress last week against Miami if he was starting, the Eagles refuted that report.

"My understanding of that situation," Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said yesterday when asked if Peters was upset about not being active but not playing.  "Is that he just wasn't quite ready to go yet. That's it."

Chip Kelly echoed that today by saying: "He wasn't cleared to go by the doctors and everybody. He wasn't in a position where he was going to be able to play."

After missing practice yesterday for undisclosed reasons, safety Walter Thurmond III was back on the field today, Connor Barwin missed practice with a quad injury.
