Heading into the Eagles game with the Bears on Monday Night Football the matchup between the Bears offense and Eagles defense is coming into focus with Leodis McKelvin not practicing so far this week.  If McKelvin can't go on Monday night, there's the expectation this will thrust Rookie Jalen Mills into a starting roll at Cornerback whether on the outside or in the slot; this would open up the potential of having the rookie face off with Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffrey.

30 year Eagles Columnist Mark Eckel joined The Sports Bash on Friday and he says the Eagles need to assign Nolan Carroll to guard the talent Bears' Wide Receiver:

“I would have Carroll shadow Jeffrey, I wouldn’t play left to right; if Jeffrey lines up on the left I would have Carroll on him, if he lines up on the right I would have Carroll on him. I think Nolan Carroll is the Eagles best Cornerback and I would just have him where ever Jeffrey is, he would be on Jeffrey.  I think the Bears are going to try to get Jeffrey matched up against Jalen Mills if (Leodis) McKelvin can’t go.  It is a big stage for the rookie, the Eagles like him, that’s why they traded (Eric) Rowe, but it is a big stage on Monday Night Football.”
