Matt Segal and Pete Giordano will broadcast live from the 15th annual Sixers Beach Bash, on Saturday, August 2nd at Jack’s Place (3601 Ocean Drive, Avalon, N.J. 08202) from 3-6pm.
Sixers guard Tony Wroten, forward Brandon Davies and legend Darryl Dawkins will all be in attendance to mingle with fans and sign autographs.
Open to fans of all ages, the outside area of Beach Bash includes interactive rides and games for kids, loads of Sixers merchandise – including blue replica jerseys and name and number tees for Sixers Nerlens Noel, Michael Carter-Williams, and Joel Embiid, along with SIXERS STRONG tank tops.
The 2014-15 Sixers Dream Team, presented by Parx Casino®, will make their season debut at Beach Bash, performing two energetic routines on stages outside and indoors at Jack’s Place. Members of the Sixers Flight Squad, presented by Lundy Law, will also attend and mingle with fans.
Inside Jack’s Place, fans 21 and over can enjoy drink specials, a cover band and place bids on additional autographed items and exclusive Sixers experiences. Steve Markel, a pool trick shot artist, will also give pool lessons, and 97.3 ESPN's Pete Giordano will help bartend.
All proceeds will benefit children throughout the Philadelphia region through SIXERS STRONG, the team’s community outreach program.
Sixers Beach Bash will take place rain or shine.
