Additional Information

The Scleroderma Foundation (a national organization with chapters across the country) aims to provide support and education for patients and their families, and, most importantly, seeks to generate funds for research, the only hope for advances in treatment and a possible cure someday.

The fundraising walks are important events for fulfilling the mission of the Foundation. The first one is in Ventnor on  May 14, 2016, starting at the Ventnor Library, 6500 Atlantic Avenue, Ventnor City 08406, and walking along the Boardwalk.

Registration on site is at 9:30 am; the walk itself starts at 10:30. Registration as a walker or donation without walking can also be accomplished online at www.scleroderma.org/ventnorwalk.

Registration fees are $25 for adults and $10 for children, which include a t-shirt and light refreshments. In addition, a silent auction, individual and team awards and prizes for money raised are included at the event.
