CHICAGO — Between injuries to Michael Del Zotto and Scott Laughton and suspensions to Brayden Schenn and Radko Gudas, the Flyers never really got around to making their final roster decisions.

There’s already a crowd up front and Schenn still has one more game to serve on his three-game ban. With one loss, an overtime defeat that the Flyers could have easily won, coach Dave Hakstol has an opening to make a roster change.

It appears as though at the very least there will be an internal lineup change as Matt Read moved from right wing on the fourth line to left wing on the third line, swapping with Nick Cousins. Michael Raffl also replaced Cousins on the first power-play unit.

“That’s the way it is right now. That’s what Hak sees,” Cousins said. “I think Reader played well last game. If guys are playing well, guys are going to move up in the lineup. That’s the way it goes. I think that’s what happened here today.”
