The Flyers wave of entry-level deals continues. The team signed 2015 third-round pick Felix Sandstrom to an entry-level deal on Tuesday, GM Ron Hextall announced.

Sandstrom, a goaltender, was selected in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft with the 70th overall pick. The Swedish goalie spent the last two seasons in the SHL, splitting time with Brynas and HV71 this season.

He appeared in 11 games with a 5-5-1 record and 2.78 GAA between the two clubs this season. Last season, Sandstrom had a 14-7-0 record and 2.25 GAA with Brynas, helping them reach the SHL Finals with a 6-4 record in 13 playoff games. Sandstrom did not play in the decisive Game 7 of the SHL Finals, a loss for Brynas.

Sandstrom also stood out in the 2017 World Junior Championships, posting a 4-2-0 record and 2.17 GAA and was named the Best Goaltender of the Tournament.

Sandstrom has also been a participant in Flyers Development Camp in each of the last three summers, but has not yet attended a training camp due to his SHL contract.
