SCRIPTUALS (Star-Telegram): Roy Oswalt makes his first start for Texas tonight (against Colorado). Randy Galloway is pumped.

SCRIPTUALS (Oklahoman): Berry Tramel thanks the Heat -- even Gloria Estefan and Miami's go-to national anthem girl -- for "doing (the Thunder) a solid" with their NBA Finals-clinching blowout Game 5 win.
STATISTICALS (AP): Chris Nelson's two-run, go-ahead homer in the seventh (off Vance Worley) was the fifth homer this month for the Rockies in 45 at-bats for Nelson, who didn't have a homer in April or May over 73 at-bats.
STATISTICALS (Elias): Rookie Wilin Rosario added a two-run shot in the ninth inning. Rosario, who leads all rookies with 11 home runs this season, had hit very poorly in the late innings until very recently, recording only five hits in 49 (.102 average) at-bats from the seventh inning on through games of June 14. But over the past seven days, Rosario has produced four hits in eight late-inning at-bats. That's a .500 average.
STATISTICALS (Todd Zolecki, MLB.com): Had the Phillies swept last night, it'd have been their first home sweep since Sept. 5-7 last year.
STATISTICALS (Bob Brookover, Philly.com): The Phillies enter Friday night against the Rays 11-26 against teams with winning records. They are 2-10 in series against winning teams and 2-7 in games against American League East teams.
STATISTICALS (Elias): Gio Gonzalez's victory over the Rays on Thursday improved his record to 9-3 and tied Stephen Strasburg (9-1) for the Nationals team lead in wins. This is only the third season in Expos/Nationals history in which they have had two pitchers each register at least nine wins by the end of June. The others were both Montreal duos: Ross Grimsley (11-5) and Steve Rogers (9-7) in 1978, and Pedro Martinez (10-3) and Jeff Juden (9-2) in 1997.
STATISTICALS (ESPN Stats and Info): LeBron James (26 points, 13 assists, 11 boards) logged his first triple-double of 2011-12 in NBA Title clincher. Only other guy to do that? James Worthy.
STATISTICALS (ESPN Stats and Info): The only guys to do it, under any circumstances? James, Worthy, Tim Duncan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson (twice).
STATISTICALS (ESPN Stats and Info): James averaged 28.6 points per game, and shot 47 percent this NBA Finals. In his two previous finals appearances, he averaged 19.5 ppg and shot 42 percent.
STATISTICALS (Elias): LeBron James, your 2012 Finals MVP, is the first player in nine years to win both the regular-season league MVP Award and the NBA championship in the same season. The last was Tim Duncan in the 2002-03 season. ... No regular-season MVP Award winner (AP) has won a Super Bowl in that same season since Kurt Warner of the 1999 Rams. And no American League or National League MVP has played for that year's World Series champion since Kirk Gibson of the Dodgers in 1988. ... Before James, the last league MVP in the NBA, NFL, NHL or Major League Baseball to win his league's championship in that season was Martin St. Louis for the Lightning in 2003-04. ... By contrast, from the 1980 through the 2000 NBA Finals, 11 of the 21 series were won by teams with the league MVP from that season.
