The "Sportsbash" was LIVE on location today at Chickie's & Pete's for "The Player's Show" where Eagles RG Danny Watkins was our guest host.

Earlier in the day Mike, Todd and our Eagles Insider Ryan Messick had a chance to talk to two NFL reporters on the state of this Eagles franchise, both had similar sentiments:

Dan Graziano: ESPN.com NFC East blogger, has followed the Eagles for a several years and believes although anything is possible, i.e. Eagles finishing the season 9-7 and making a playoff run, this will be the end for Andy Reid in Philadelphia. Graziano also said that the 8-8 comment Jeffrey Lurie made during the off season was vague when it came to injuries. Will Andy Reid have an out due to the many injuries to this team, and what about the development of Nick Foles?

Adam Caplan: NFL reporter called in to give his thoughts on the Eagles for the remainder of this season. On Nick Foles, Caplan was fairly impressed. When you consider that he hardly takes first team snaps during practice, it's not an easy thing to come in and succeed. A high-ranking NFL executive told Caplan that if Reid continues to lose games like this, why put him through that? Although, it's still unlikely that Reid doesn't finish the season.
