Hammonton High had a pretty successful 2014 football season, finishing 6-3 in the West Jersey Football League's tough National Division, before losing in the playoffs to eventual Group 4 champion Shawnee.

It was the team's first year in the West Jersey Football League. So while the Blue Devils certainly had a new look leaving the Cape-Atlantic League, that Hammonton tradition certainly remained intact.

And as we get closer to the 2015 season, the same can be said about the Blue Devils again this year. The biggest new look will of course be Hammonton's new Head Coach Jim Raso, who's taking over for Pete Lancetta. Coach Lancetta resigned to become Rowan University's Offensive Line Coach. He left behind quite the legacy, amassing a 215-65-1 record in 27 seasons.

Another new look in 2015 will be Hammonton's uniform. Check out the picture Hammonton Football posted on its Facebook page:

New Era, with a dash of Tradition!

As they put it: it's a new era, with a dash of Tradition! Honestly, it's a pretty good look. We can't wait to see it on the field this year!

Nothing like a picture of a helmet to get you excited for football season in early June!!!
