Hammonton junior quarterback John Triboletti has been a big part of the Blue Devils' early-season turnaround. His efforts led to him being voted the latest 97.3 ESPN FM High School Athlete of the Week.

The first-year starter has caught fire lately, including a three-touchdown performance against Egg Harbor Township. He led Hammonton to a 41-0 win.

Triboletti received 73 percent of the vote, while Middle Township Panthers running back Yamire McNeal collected 25 percent to place second.

Football players C.J. LaFragola (St. Joe) and John Chamberlain (Williamstown) rounded out the list, along with Holy Spirit soccer standout Summer Crilley.

Be sure to look for a new list of Athlete of the Week candidates every Thursday. Vote early and often  through Saturday mornings. Tyler Donohue will announce the winner Saturdays at 11 a.m. on The South Jersey Sports Report (9-noon).
