Hammonton Blue Devil star athlete Christian Mortellite joined Tyler Donahue in studio Thursday night on "High School Hoops Tonight."

Mortellite stamped off his senior year as QB for the Blue Devils who upset top-ranked St. Joe during their annual Thanksgiving game.

"It's a great feeling walking off that field for the last time, they thought they were going to come in there and blow us out. I'll remember it for the rest of my life," Mortellite said.

However, it's on the hardwood where Mortellite truly shines.

Averaging 27 points per game, the Blue Devils are 8-2 and are in the hunt for a playoff appearance.

Mortellite stamped off his basketball career last month when he scored his 1,000th point in the season opener against Oakcrest.

The Blue Devils play host to the Middle Township Panthers Friday night.
