According to ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter the Bills have requested permission to interview Holy Spirit alum and former 49ers offensive coordinator, Greg Roman for their head-coaching vacancy. Roman was with Jim Harbaugh in San Francisco for the past four years and with him at Stanford before that but isn't expected to follow coach Jim Harbaugh to Michigan.

Roman's name has been mentioned for a bunch of jobs recently, he was a popular head-coaching candidate two offseason ago, but this is the first head coaching interview he's has been connected to so far this offseason.

He's also been linked to the Bucs and Jaguars' offensive coordinator jobs.

Also per Schefter the Bills are interviewing Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. Shurmur interviewed for the Raiders' head-coaching vacancy on Friday. Shurmur has spent the last two seasons as Chip Kelly's offensive coordinator, but Kelly calls the plays, a team might want to grab Shurmur to tap into some new ideas he has now after this first stint as a head coach in Cleveland
