Did you miss the Sports Bash or do you just want to listen to it again?

The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Friday July 20th, 2012.

Tiger Woods in the running

The Sportsbash opens with Mike and Todd talking about the strong play of Tiger Woods at The Open Championship.  Woods finished the day four strokes behind the leader at -10.  Mike Gill thinks that Woods is just another great golfer and not that elite, dominant player that he once was.  Todd Ranck is still on the Woods bandwagon and believes he will become victorious on Sunday.  Either way, the fist pump from Woods on the 18th looks familiar.

Kevin Williams on PSU

Townsquare Media's Sports Director, Kevin Williams, called in and talked about the PSU Scandal and whether or not the Joe Paterno statue should come down.  Williams is very close to the program of Penn State and may have a biased opinion, but he does not think the program should be shut down and the Paterno statue should be moved elsewhere.  Thus, there is speculation that the statue will indeed be removed as soon as this weekend.

2 players you are looking to step up this season

Mike and Todd each gave two players each who they're looking to step up this football season for the Eagles.  You may think the Eagles have a stacked team on both sides of the ball, but questions do remain at some positions.  You may be surprised as to who Mike and Todd picked as their must-step-up players of the season:

Do the Eagles use DeSean Jackson correctly?

Mike Gill doesn't think the Eagles have used DeSean Jackson correctly in their offense.  With him now making big money, Gill says that has to change.  He looked at the catches Wes Welker had last season (122) and wonders why Jackson can't have similar numbers.  Both have same body types, but Welker plays the slot in New England.  Mike suggests the Eagles not play Jackson in the slot at all times, rather interchange the two.

The latest with Cole Hamels

Peter Gammons, MLB Network came out with a report saying an executive told him "3 teams have told him they have dropped out of the Cole Hamels derby because they think he will re-sign with the Phillies."  Mike Gill believes Amaro has to re-sign Hamels because he has to know how bad he "screwed up the Cliff Lee trade to Seattle."
