It’s Sweeping Social Media: $15 to Make an NBA Starting Lineup

Ball is Life

The cool thing about social media is things go viral.

That’s what happened when Ball is Life  tweeted out a $15 NBA all-time starting lineup.

You have a $15 budget to ‘draft’ a PG, SG, SF, PF and C.

Each position has five players to choose from, 25 of the best NBA players at their position.

The greats like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar cost $5, while Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade and Scottie Pippen cost just $1.

Mine goes a little something like this:

PG: $1 Walt Frazier

SG: $5 Michael Jordan

SF: $5 LeBron James

PF: $2 Dirk Nowitzki

C: $2 Shaquille O’Neal

Michael Jordan is undeniable when talking about the best players ever to play in the NBA. If you don’t have Jordan in your starting lineup then you simply arent trying.

I’ve always been a fan of LeBron James, he’s come on strong these past three seasons, winning two straight NBA Championships and gunning for a third. The choice between he and Larry Bird is a difficult one, but my allegiance to the 76ers forbids me from choosing any Celtics player.

With $10 already spent, the word ‘budget’ really comes into play. Dirk Nowitzki can stay outside of the paint, while Shaq patrols it. With $1 to spare, Walt Frazier be my point guard. All in all, there are 15 NBA rings on the court.

Not bad.
