On Thursday, Dario Saric was named February Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month; In 12 games Saric averaged 17 Points Per Game, 7.9 Rebounds P/G, and 2.8 Assists P/G as the Sixers went 4-8 last month.  Among Rookies who have played at least 44 games this season, Saric is the leader in Points Per Game and Rebounds Per Game while playing in every Sixers game this season.

CSN Philly Sixers Pre and Post Game Analyst Marc Jackson joined The Sports Bash on Thursday and talked about how Saric has developed since coming to the NBA:

"When he first came over he was a little uncomfortable cause the game was too fast and he was trying to figure out things, but now that he has it he is playing free.  I've been watching Dario for the last six years, since he was all the way back playing for Cibona as a young kid, he is a very quiet person, very cerebral person, but he studies the game and he plays hard.  But he has made such a transformation in his game in the last four months compared to the last six years playing in Europe.  Dario is a totally different player then he was, what I mean by that he's more perimeter oriented, he's beating NBA talent off the dribble.  He would never did any of that in Europe, he was more of a Pick-and-Pop guy and a Rebounder and a Post Guy, banging guys, gritty, a Floor General, a good passer.  But to see what he's doing now, he is comfortable....So now he feels he's comfortable he's going to speak up, he's going to do his thing, and he's being aggressive."
